MAINTAINING YOUR GARAGE DOOR
Garage doors are the most heavily used feature in your home, more than your front door, your dishwasher, even your t.v. This means from time to time they need some love! If they are not aligned properly or maintained well they can become noisy, jerky or even dangerous if they come off track. For this reason it is advisable to lubricate your door often with a silicone based lubricant and set up an annual tune up to make sure it is running at it’s optimal performance. Don’t wait until your door is stuck in the opening and off the track, or won’t open or close fully. Occasionally we are able to harvest and refurbish parts that are in good condition from a tear out job (such as good panels to garage doors that are no longer manufactured). If you have need for a specific item, let us know and we’ll put you on a wait list for it.
